Advanced Energy Industries Promotes James Benshoof to Vice President and Chief Information Officer

FORT COLLINS, Colorado (June 12, 1998)—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:AEIS) today announced the promotion of James Benshoof to the newly created position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer.


Mr. Benshoof, 38, has been with Advanced Energy for seven years, serving most recently as Director of Information Technology and previously as Manager of Information Technology. During this time, he was responsible for implementing two information systems at the Company, including SAP, a fully integrated enterprise reporting system. His new responsibilities include the entire information systems organization and telecommunications system for the Company.
